Introduction

Some projects go beyond functionality—they create impact. In 2021, I led the design of Cashway.bg, a digital payment platform that rewards users for their everyday spending. More than just a transaction tool, it was about trust, transparency, and giving back. Working closely with stakeholders and developers, I crafted a seamless and rewarding user experience.

The Challenge

Traditional payment systems in Bulgaria lacked incentives. Users spent money but got nothing in return. Our goal was to change that by designing an intuitive, secure, and engaging cashback system—one that made every purchase feel rewarding.

Design Approach

• User-Centered Insights: Defined key personas (young professionals, freelancers) and studied global cashback platforms to identify strengths and pain points.

• Seamless Experience: Designed a frictionless flow for transactions, rewards tracking, and real-time insights.

• Engaging Visuals: Used deep blues and greens for trust, paired with energetic accents to highlight cashback rewards.
